Off for another adventure.  We laughed when we looked back at this picture – I thought only old people dressed alike.  It must be something that happens when you’ve been married a long time because trust me, I don’t pick out his clothes in the morning.

Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend is just outside of Page, Arizona and is a heavily photographed view of the Colorado river. You can’t tell from the pictures but the wind was blowing so hard that it was picking up sand and exfoliating our skin. While exfoliating might sound like a day at the spa it was pretty much the opposite of a nice relaxing day at the spa (but the view was gorgeous).

Antelope Canyon

Lower Antelope Canyon is south of Page, Arizona and is by far one of the most amazing places we’ve been.  The sandstone slot canyons draw thousands of visitors daily and tours are managed by a couple of local tour companies.  Ken’s Tours, the company we booked through does a good job of limiting the number of people in the canyon so you can still get good photographs. Our tour guide was a rock star and informed us of the best settings for our phones and cameras to take pictures and she took a lot pictures for the group. If you ever want to tour the canyon I would recommend Ken’s Tours. They are located at the canyon whereas most of the others are in town and drive you out to the canyon in the back of a pickup (seriously).
